This content is provided by Horten.

Horten has in-depth expertise with the legal aspects of the energy, utilities and infrastructure sectors, and ranks among the leading advisers in these sectors in Denmark. We have many years' experience advising clients in the complex area of heavily regulated businesses involved in complex contracts, transactions and disputes with other businesses or with authorities.

In addition, we are thoroughly familiar with the characteristics of state and municipality owned legal entities and hold a number of these as our clients.

Our specialists have a broad network in the energy, utilities and infrastructure sectors. Several of our lawyers have been employed by the largest energy companies or in the central government, and we are deeply anchored in industry networks and other professional fora.

We have substantial expertise and experience, representing clients with the legal matters of renewables, especially in the areas of wind, biogas and geothermal, where we have been involved in a number of the largest transactions and projects.

In the upstream area, we represent a number of license holders and producers of oil and gas in the North Sea, as well as suppliers to these.
