Hogan Lovells’ Italian Antitrust, Competition and Economic Regulation (ACER) is based both in Milan and Rome.
Our Italian team works closely with our ACER teams elsewhere in Europe, located in Brussels, UK, France, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, Hungary, Poland and Russia, offering a co-ordinated pan-European service covering both EU and national competition regimes.
In Italy we assist national and multinational companies, trade associations and other organisations in a full range of matters before the Italian Competition Authority as well as before the European Commission. Our key areas of advice include competition/cartels/abuses of dominant position investigations, competition related litigation before the EU and Italian courts (including private enforcement or follow-on damages claims), merger control, day to day competition law advice, compliance, EU anti-fraud (OLAF) investigations, EU law (including in relation to free movement of goods and capital), trade law (including anti-dumping and anti-subsidy cases), state aids, public procurement and EU regulatory.
