Our Madrid Banking & Finance team is made up of 10 lawyers, led by two partners. With teams on the ground in major financial hubs and emerging economies, our extensive market and industry knowledge and wide resources on a global scale allow us to help clients face the challenges of local and multijurisdictional matters.

Our Banking & Finance practice proactively strives to eliminate obstacles that stand in the way of effective agreements for our clients.  Our fresh knowledge of what is happening throughout the banking and finance sector informs our advice to clients on the best methods to develop their businesses in new markets, design and rollout new products, and acquire new businesses.

In this area, we have relevant experience advising in project finance, acquisition finance, asset finance, real estate finance, restructuring and debt refinance, debt trading and loan portfolio transactions and regulatory law. We also work across all major market sectors, including retail and investment banks, intermediaries, peer to peer lenders, FinTech companies, alternative lenders, asset managers and infrastructure providers, as well as industry bodies and regulators, bringing a holistic market perspective to all prospective client projects.
