We have a dedicated project development team in Indonesia, with our energy, natural resources and infrastructure practice handling both transactions and projects, including financing. We have extensive experience and expertise in advising foreign investors on major projects and transactions involving Indonesia.

We have deep relationships with major Indonesian and international companies in the renewable energy and conventional power, oil and gas, mining, and infrastructure sectors.

Our recent work highlights include acting for:

• Consortium of INA, APG and ADIA on an investment cooperation with Waskita Karya for two sections of the Trans Java Toll Road (Kanci-Pejagan and Pejagan-Pemalang) with a total transaction value of US$1.25 billion (IJInvestor Transport Acquisition Award Asia Pacific 2024)
• Norfund and Swedfund on its participation in the financing round of Xurya (an Indonesian solar rooftop company) through its initial first direct investments in renewable energy in Indonesia
• Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt Co Ltd in relation to its on-going development of Sorowako HPAL facility in co-operation with PT Vale Indonesia Tbk
• DP World and INA on its successful investment in, development and expansion of the Belawan New International Container Terminal in Indonesia, with a project value of US$7.5 billion
• Pertamina Rosneft Pengolahan dan Petrokimia on development of the US$15 billion Tuban grass root refinery and petrochemical complex
