Hill Ward Henderson's Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation practice provides a full range of services to clients relating to retirement plans, health and welfare plans, fringe benefit plans, cafeteria plans and executive compensation arrangements. The group has over 75 years of combined experience in this area. Our attorneys advise clients on all matters related to the design, implementation, administration, operation, merger, and termination of all types of employee benefits and executive compensation plans. Our attorneys regularly advise clients on benefit issues that arise as part of corporate mergers and acquisition transactions, and routinely provide advice regarding equity compensation and executive compensation arrangements.
Our attorneys represent clients before various federal and state agencies, including the Department of Labor, Florida Department of Revenue, Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation and Internal Revenue Service, with respect to audits, investigations, submissions, and notices. Our practice group also has extensive experience with respect to health and welfare benefits programs including but not limited to the application of PPACA and the recent increase in IRS penalty assessments.
