About
Provided by Hecht Walker Jordan, P.C.
We enjoy solving problems through diplomacy, leverage and contacts without litigation. However, if litigation is needed, we have been lead counsel in over 300 trials and 1000 hearings.
Our land use work includes rezonings, conditional/special use permits, variances and future land use map amendments. Our projects have included industrial warehouses, subdivisions, multi-family projects, mixed use developments, hotel/motel projects, retail and shopping mall developments, townhome developments, golf course developments, co-living spaces, data center, urban village center, truck storage/sales venues, and other type projects. Our litigation work areas include construction, real estate, property rights, land use, quiet title, contract, business, lease, loan and guaranties, local government obstruction, tort, commercial property tax appeals and general civil litigation.
Some unique recent projects include a fascinating Urban Village Concept for the owners of one of the largest fast food restaurant chains in the US, the representation of Fulton County in the Service Delivery Strategy negotiations with all of the cities of this county, and a brand new concept in luxury concierge vertical rental homes. Also, we enjoy trying to stop the red tape and remove obstacles to the development of sites and the building processes by local governments. Our firm has attorneys who are peer rated as "Legal Elite", "Super Lawyers" and AV by Martindale, the highest rating in Ability and Legal Ethics.
