Our real estate attorneys help individual and corporate clients with all aspects of real estate and development matters. We handle matters both locally and around the country. On the local level, our understanding of particular regulations and processes, and relationships with zoning board members and other key parties, allows us to advocate for clients throughout the approval process. We also represent a number of lenders, borrowers, sellers and buyers, landlords and tenants in various transactions as local counsel, including providing transfer tax advice and issuing legal opinions.

Over the past few years, we have expanded our work on behalf of hospitals, health care systems, rehabilitation centers and pharmaceuticals. We frequently team up with our environmental lawyers to conduct due diligence and address potential issues during the purchase and sale of real estate. This includes advising clients on issues that may require remediation, and developing approaches for resolving problems. We also work with our corporate attorneys in buying and selling companies and their assets.
