Greenberg Traurig's American Indian Law Practice handles litigation, mediation, transactional, and governmental affairs matters involving Native American and Alaska Native tribes and tribal entities in every part of the United States.   • Trial and appellate court advocacy and boots-on-the-ground experience in tribal and state courts throughout the country, and in federal courts including the United States Supreme Court.

Greenberg Traurig caters to Native American tribes as well as corporations, government bodies and nonprofit organizations.   • Greenberg Traurig advised Xcel Energy on compliance with the National Historic Preservation Act and the National Environmental Policy Act. The Northern Cheyenne Tribe, Northern Arapaho Tribe, and the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes have raised cultural resource-related concerns pertaining to wind development near the Sand Creek Massacre National Historic Site in Southeastern Colorado.
