Our IP team is specialized in all type of matters related with patents, trademarks and copyright. We can provide from a search through the Official Records at the Mexican Patents and Trademarks Office, to handle the due prosecution of any matter until its conclusion to secure clients IP rights.

Likewise, we are recognized for our work in licensing negotiations related to computer software as well as agreements involving the use of any acquired IP right which are focused on protecting our clients’ interests.

The IP Group is headed by Enrique A. Diaz, the youngest practitioner to be made senior partner in the firm's history who is praised for his range of expertise in IP, he handles prosecution and enforcement of IP, but with special skills in negotiations and settling disputes in cost effective matters.

Among other things, Enrique Diaz manages the prosecution of more than 3,500 trade marks per year.

He is a member of several IP international associations, currently he is the Treasurer of ASIPI.

Our litigation area has a team of attorneys and technical specialists who help companies with patent and trademark protection and disputes in Mexico, which is directly supervised by Enrique A. Diaz, and managed by notable practitioner Guillermo Sosa, who is respected for his litigation experience before the Mexican courts and the MPTO. The firm is also active in entertainment and sport law.
