Our Communications Law team provides complete legal services and strategic advice on Canada's broadcasting, telecommunications and new media framework to local, national and international clients. For more than 20 years, the group has been involved in the majority of major transactions and policy review proceedings that have shaped the face of Canada's broadcasting and telecommunications industries.

We have a long and successful record appearing before the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission, assisting clients with new licence applications, renewals, transfers of ownership and policy submissions in major telecommunications and broadcasting proceedings. We also represent communications companies at the appeal level, including appearances before the Federal Cabinet, the Federal Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada. Our clients, which include a number of Canada's largest broadcasting and telecommunications companies, also rely on the Communications group for advice on copyright, competition and trade law matters.
