Our long-standing experience and expertise includes guiding the first and third non-incumbent licensed producers in Canada in their initial licensing and their private and public financing and capital market transactions. Goodmans was counsel on some of the earliest cross-border transactions for U.S. and Latin American cannabis businesses accessing Canadian capital markets and we are counsel in many of the restructuring transactions during the current right-sizing and consolidation of the industry both in Canada and in the U.S. We were also counsel on the first-ever cannabis-focused TSX SPAC IPO, and the first cannabis SPAC qualifying acquisitions in Canada.
