Geldards have advised one of the devolved governments on a number of major IT projects.  They are active supporters of public sector IT clients in Wales, advising in respect of both major projects, but also preparing standard contracts, advising on cloud and similar arrangements.

Geldards have particular expertise in advising in respect of utilities and financial services related technology deals.  Geldards’ recent experience includes advising on loan book outsourcing arrangements, white labelling and outsourcing arrangements, telematics, regtech and insure tech.  These deals are frequently subject to Solvency II, SYSC of FG16/5/EBA guidelines.
