Our attorneys are experienced in transactions involving historic and low-income housing tax credits, new markets tax credits and enterprise zone tax credits. They routinely advise clients in all aspects of real estate leasing, and often represent landlords and tenants in lease negotiations.
We also have extensive experience in handling oil and gas transactions, coal storage facilities, underground natural gas storage transactions, industrial plant relocation and development, apartment complexes and hotels, commercial shopping center, medical and office building developments, and other related transactions.
Fishman Haygood also has a captive title company, Commercial Title Agency, L.L.C., that is wholly owned by the firm. Commercial Title is an authorized agent of Chicago Title Insurance Company, First American Title Insurance Company of Louisiana, Fidelity National Title Insurance Company and Stewart Title Guaranty Company. It is licensed by the Louisiana and Mississippi Departments of Insurance as a title insurance agency. Scott Willis and Steven Serio are licensed title insurance producers and serve as the President and Vice President, respectively.
