FBC’s Liquidation & Receivership practice provides comprehensive legal services for debtors and creditors in a variety of insolvency related proceedings. The practice’s lawyers have extensive knowledge and experience in the field and advise and represent clients in all insolvency matters, which matters often encompass a number of legal disciplines involving court proceedings and the preparation of intricate agreements that combine regulatory, commercial, finance, and real estate considerations.

The department has broad experience in stays of proceedings, restructuring, liquidations, bankruptcies and receiverships. It represents a range of entities in such matters including companies and non-profit organizations, banks, creditors, managers and other office holders, as well as the Israeli Official Receiver. In the framework of insolvency related proceedings, the practice’s lawyers are appointed on behalf of the courts as office holders – trustee, liquidator, special manager and receiver. Our lawyers serve in these roles for a variety of entities (companies, non-profits, etc.) in different fields (e.g. industry, high tech, finance and more).

FBC has been involved in nearly all of Israel’s most significant debt arrangements, aggregating tens of billions of NIS in recent years.
