After the pandemic, FILS represented one of the leading hotel owners in Spain and Europe against several hotel chains that tried to impose contracts tailored to their expectations. In some cases, the hotel chains proposed a 100% rent reduction during the period when they voluntarily closed their leased hotels, while diverting customers to other hotels they owned. A comprehensive view of the conflict enabled us to obtain favourable results for our clients in all the cases defended by the firm, in contrast to the losses suffered by the majority of large hotel owners in Spain.
