Dispute Resolution is one of our strongest practices. The department is best known for successfully litigating in complex cases related to the recovery of damages. It consists of a first class professional team, specialized in litigating criminal, civil, administrative, commercial and intellectual property law matters, both at a judicial and arbitration level.  

Specifically about arbitration, our team has represented clients in different types of arbitration (e.g., infrastructure companies, the operator of the San Jose International Airport, purchasers and sellers, insurers, lenders and trustees, inter alia), both under the local Arbitration Act and foreign arbitration rules.  A significant number of arbitration proceedings in our recorded history figure among the most important in terms of the amount of the dispute and the awards eventually granted to our clients.
