Our Public Law Department is managed by Alberto Dorrego and Andrés Jimenez since2012. Both Alberto and Andrés have a broad and recognized experience in practising Spanish Public Law, acquired during over more than 30 years serving as lawyers in the Spanish Parliament (the Congress of Deputies and the Senate).

The team is specialized in Spanish Public Law (Administrative Law and Regulatory) working both in controversial and non-controversial matters (advisory and transactional issues):

• Litigation practice. The team has an extensive practice in complex Government litigation, representing our clients in disputes and all kind of controversies against central Government, Regions, municipalities and Government Agencies and bodies. Both Partners frequently act at Judicial Review specialized Courts in Spain (Supreme Court, Supreme Regional Courts), Constitutional Court of Spain and international Courts (European Court of Justice and European Court of Human Rights), as well as in proceedings before regulatory bodies (CNMC, and other national regulatory agencies). 
• Transactional practice. Our team gives permanent support and legal advice to other practice areas of the Firm (at international and local level) in transactions with Public Law issues involved to both national companies and international ones with interests in Spain.
