Eversheds Sutherland’s Investment Funds Real Estate Team has undergone substantial growth, establishing itself as a leading adviser in both open-ended and closed-ended real estate fund structures. The team is particularly recognised for its work on private equity-style real estate funds and the structuring of Long-Term Asset Funds (LTAFs).

We offer extensive experience across emerging asset classes including shared ownership, gradual ownership, student accommodation, affordable housing, and build-to-rent. Our integrated approach, combining Luxembourg and Irish capabilities with support from our US practice, has been instrumental in our growth.

We are actively engaged in shaping the future of fund structures, advising on LTAF and Reserved Investor Fund (RIF) developments, including the UK’s FCA submissions and guidance to industry bodies.
