The firm has over 14 years of practice in all types of registration matters and disputes (trademarks, copyrights, patents, designs, domain name rights, data protection); in all types of infringement disputes (dealing with police, customs and court matters); at all levels - Estonian, European, and international (from the patent office to the Supreme Court, from the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market to the European Court of Justice). Ellex key examples of work are in connection with patent, trademark, copyright litigation, unfair competition and trademark registration matters.
Ellex IP team has been led by Mr Ants Nõmper, who is partner in Ellex and he is highly recognised IP opinion leader in Estonia. He is also a member of the Estonian Bar Association´s IT&IP Committee. Another key expert in team is a highly experienced counsel, European trademark and design attorney Ms Mari Must. In 2016 Ms Mari Must was elected as the member of the Board in the Association of the Estonian Patent Attorneys.
