Julie Tierney is ranked as a notable practitioner. She has expertise in Divorce and Ancillary Relief work, as well as experience in related children matters. Julie has been described by one client as having “an approachable manner, responds quickly to queries and gives sound advice”.

The dedicated Family Law Department has outstanding expertise in Divorce and Ancillary Relief matters. We have particular expertise advising high net-worth individuals in complex matters involving assets located outside the UK and cases involving business interests and agricultural assets.

The Department also acts for clients in children’s law issues and regularly appear before all Family Courts in Northern Ireland including the High Court. Practice Head, Julie Tierney, is an accredited member of the Children (NI) Order Panel. Associate Carla Fraser advises clients on all aspects of Family Law issues affecting children to include private and Public Law Proceedings. We are also experienced in dealing with Domestic Proceedings such as Non Molestation Order and Occupation Order Proceedings.
