Duane Morris & Selvam's Corporate Practice is the largest department in our firm consisting of 21 qualified lawyers (12 are Managing Directors & Directors).

Duane Morris & Selvam is a joint law venture and has the ability to offer both foreign and local law advice. The Singapore office works very closely with other corporate lawyers based in our other offices across Asia as many of our deals have cross-border elements and we also work with lawyers across our US and London offices.

Our team handles a broad range of corporate and M&A matters. We provide practical and creative legal counsel, while assisting clients in complying with regulatory, statutory and other legal mandates. We advise clients in forming business entities in Asia, particularly Singapore, Vietnam and Myanmar and assist them in defining the rights and relationships of owners and stockholders. We are experienced in negotiating, drafting and reviewing agreements of all types, including distribution, manufacturing, licensing, outsourcing and other agreements. 

We advise early stage and mature companies across a wide range of sectors, particularly technology & telecommunications, oil & gas, energy & utilities, consumer goods & retail, media & entertainment, and pharmaceuticals, amongst others. We provide guidance for compliance with international trade, import-export controls, customs and other regulatory requirements.
