The Firm has a robust Dispute Resolution practice involving civil, commercial, taxation, criminal and constitutional law. This practice comprising of about 25 partners and counsel supported by over 50 litigation lawyers is represented at all the eight major cities where the Firm has offices. . Members of this team co-ordinate and work jointly with lawyers from other jurisdictions in international arbitrations and litigation matters involving multiple jurisdictions. The teams have also worked on various types of alternative dispute resolution mechanisms including pre-arbitration advice, contractual advice and claim analysis.

Dua Associates actively represents its Indian and foreign clients in civil litigation, IPR, commercial, taxation, criminal and constitutional proceedings. The Firm’s litigation lawyers regularly appear before the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts, District Courts, Consumer Courts, Debt Recovery Tribunals, Tax Tribunals, National Company Law Tribunal, the Customs Excise and Gold (Control) Appellate Tribunal, the Competition Commission, the Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction and Special Commissions and Regulatory Authorities. To safeguard and promote the interests of the Firm’s clients in a dispute, the Litigation and Arbitration/Alternative Dispute Resolution practice team actively collaborates with other practice groups to identify sector-specific and client-specific litigation risks and devise dispute resolution strategies.
