The transactions and deals undertaken are across sectors such as manufacturing, financial services, telecom, media, information technology, power , infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, aviation, cosmetics, defence and real estate. The M&A and PE practice team comprises of 20 partners and over 35 professionals who represent institutionally affiliated and stand-alone private equity houses on complex and sophisticated transactions, including buyouts, control investments, re-capitalisations, co-investments, public market and venture transactions.
The team also advises on legal and commercial issues and alternatives for PE investment such as investor exit options, instruments of investment, economic/commercial aspects of the proposed transaction, the extent of management rights, if any, to be granted to the investor in listed companies and unlisted companies etc.
