Dickinson Gleeson is a Jersey-based firm focused predominantly on litigation and dispute resolution.
We have been involved in much of the most complex and high-value litigation in Jersey of the past ten years. We are highly experienced in a wide range of commercial litigation, including in particular trust litigation, company litigation, fraud and asset-tracing, insolvency, and regulatory matters.
Led by James Dickinson and James Gleeson, the team comprises 4 partners, and 5 other fee earners at various levels. We operate on a conflict free basis and are independent of any trust company – one of the only leading law firms in Jersey to remain so. We have a partner-led culture which allows us to give prompt, accessible and tailored advice based on the fullest understanding of our clients’ complex structures and situations.
We act for a range of clients from large corporations, financial institutions, and trust companies, to individuals, both HNW and those with lesser resources. In relation to the latter, we are experienced at working with litigation funders to fund litigation where appropriate. We also advise and act for directors, trustees, liquidators and other office holders in relation to their duties. We regularly work in partnership with international law firms – the structure of the firm lends itself to a collaborative approach and to cost efficient results.
