Dentons is rightly recognised by Chambers as a pre-eminent rail firm in Scotland as well as in the UK.  The Scottish rail market is dominated by Network Rail, the infrastructure owner for almost all of Scotland's passenger and freight railway – Network Rail own, operate, maintain and renew all of the track and signalling and also manage the largest stations in the country (Glasgow Central and Edinburgh Waverley).  Dentons has been the exclusive legal service provider to Network Rail in Scotland for several years.

Our Scottish based team is able to export their services to the larger English rail market – eg in some of the procurement and construction case studies and is evidenced by Mark Macaulay playing a leading role in the firm's recent appointment to the Transport for London panel.
