  • Energy transition - acting for clients across the breadth of the renewables and alternative energy power sector, from renewables (solar, both on- and offshore wind, energy from waste, and hydro), to novel technologies (such as green and blue hydrogen, CCUS and energy storage, including batteries and compressed air storage technology).
  • Emerging markets - We continue to enjoy strong emerging markets workflow. We have developed a market leading practice in the Caribbean, working with, among others, the region's largest energy and infrastructure debt provider, FirstCaribbean International Bank. We have also continued to build on our long-standing presence across Africa, particularly within the infrastructure and conventional energy sphere. Dentons has invested significantly in Africa and currently has 16 African offices.
  • Traditional energy - we continue to provide market-leading support to energy providers - and investors - who provide traditional energy, such as oil and gas, as they move towards a more sustainable and affordable offer.
