D&A’s Criminal and White-Collar Practice Group provides strategic defence and advisory services in white-collar crime and election-related matters. The group advises and represents clients in cases involving bribery, corruption, fraud, financial crimes, abuse of power, embezzlement, and other complex criminal matters. The group comprises four specialised teams, including criminal litigation, white-collar (election), family litigation, and administrative litigation teams, with more than 30 professionals. Our practice group comprises former judges from various courts including the Seoul Central District Court. Drawing on this extensive experience, we have successfully represented senior government officials, corporate executives, business leaders, and corporations in high-profile criminal proceedings, securing favourable outcomes, including acquittals, dismissals, and suspended sentences.

Work Highlights: D&A represented the former Senior Presidential Secretary for Personnel Affairs at the Blue House in criminal proceedings involving allegations that he abused his authority by obstructing the investigation of the Special Investigation Committee for the Sewol Ferry Disaster.
