D&A’s Corporate Litigation Practice Group provides comprehensive dispute resolution services across all stages of litigation, arbitration, and other dispute resolution proceedings. The practice group includes former chief judges, senior prosecutors, police officers, and government officials who bring extensive practical experience to complex civil, criminal, commercial, and administrative matters involving high-profile individuals, listed companies, and public institutions. Since the enforcement of the Serious Accidents Punishment Act (SAPA), compliance with the SAPA has become increasingly important for businesses. In response, we established the Serious Accident Advisory Group to advise clients on SAPA compliance, risk management, and defence strategies to reduce the risk of violations and criminal liability. We also operate the SAPA Compliance Certification (SCC) program, providing proactive compliance assessments and advisory services to companies in high-risk industries, including manufacturing and construction.

Work Highlights: D&A represented Kiwoom Securities in a KRW 433.3 billion damages action against 106 co-conspirators and borrowed-name account holders involved in the Youngpoong Paper stock price manipulation case.
