Our Employment Department’s specialisations include advising corporate clients on internal procedures, bespoke drafting of policies, contracts and documentation, as well as assisting in (and avoiding) Tribunal proceedings. Our Property Department’s specialisations include advising on commercial refinance, drafting commercial leases and assisting in commercial property transactions. Recent work highlights include:
(1) Securing a settlement in a confidential six-figure settlement for a client relating to the purchase of an off-plan property with an unusually high deposit that had failed to be built ahead of the longstop date for completion;
(2) Representing a company in ongoing Tribunal proceedings defending claims of direct and indirect discrimination, harassment and failure to make reasonable adjustments and successfully obtaining judgment that the Claimant was not disabled within the meaning of the Equality Act 2010, leading to a highly favourable settlement in favour of our client.
