Control Risks

About

Provided by Control Risks

Control Risks’ extensive geographical footprint and our 40+ years of on-the-ground experience means that we are well-placed to advise our clients on the ever-changing spectrum of environmental, social and governance risks.

Our teams have significant local and in-country experience with multi-disciplinary subject matter expertise in ESG. We provide clients with practical remediation advice that is sensitive to the realities of the situation, calibrated to the local environment, and focused on the most salient risk issues.

We have completed ESG mandates in jurisdictions across the globe and have local presence and first-hand experience in some of the world’s most challenging and complex markets. Our clients include investors (private and public), corporates and their legal counsel, and NGOs. Our ESG practice offers four main services:

Supply chain risk and impact assessments, ESG screening and due diligence, social compliance and labour welfare consulting, and human rights investigations. In 2020 we introduced VANTAGE for ESG, which builds on our third-party compliance platform, providing specialised research on a third party’s ESG footprint and approach with country and industry risk analysis. It also includes a consulting component that allows our experts to design tailored solutions in line with specific needs and objectives.
