The Labor Law team in all our offices has over 15 years of experience and expertise in developing processes and products aimed at preventive and proactive legal labor advice. We provide labor advisory services to numerous companies in various economic sectors with different compliance requirements, always with the goal of growing their businesses and making them more competitive.
Through a legal service supported by accredited technical specialists, we can reduce long labor disputes while simultaneously boosting morale and employee retention. We believe in preventive advice, so we conduct courses and seminars on labor topics for the company’s attorneys and HR teams, enabling them to avoid common mistakes.
Our Labor department provides legal services especially to the private sector in Costa Rica. Most of our clients have payrolls with more than 1,500 employees and thus daily advice regarding disciplinary actions, compensation packages decisions, or working schedule issues, among others are part of our services. We are often involved in M&A transactions, reviewing the transition between a former employer and the new one, in charge of all labor process such as communications to public entities, communications to employees, benefit packages, special compensations, among others.
