Provided by Colin Biggers & Paisley

Our team of experienced dispute resolution lawyers work closely with listed and private companies of all sizes in most industry sectors, with individuals and government entities. We help clients achieve commercial outcomes that minimise disruption, business distraction, reputation risk and expense.

We are skilled in using all forms of dispute resolution techniques and appreciate court processes are most clients’ least preferred option. Our job is to find the best path to achieving resolution that meets commercial goals and ambitions.

We have acted for clients in all manner of disputes, including shareholder and partnership, competition, consumer, financial crime and bribery, product liability, technology-related, copyright, trademark and patent, procurement, property and development including strata, land contracts and access to land disputes. The practice also has a specialist construction dispute team.

We act in all courts and jurisdictions in Australia and handle disputes and litigation arising interstate and overseas. We assist clients with a wide range of regulatory matters, including financial services regulation, corporations and directors’ duties, and proceedings commenced by ASIC, the ACCC, APRA, and the ATO. Our experience also includes acting in matters involving integrity bodies such as ICAC and local government inquiries, as well as acting in AFP investigations, Royal Commissions, and Commissions of Inquiry.
