The team has extensive experience representing international and local clients in complex banking and finance law-related matters, including litigation.

The practice covers the broadest range of banking and finance-related matters, such as M&A of financial institutions, cross-border lending and refinancings, capital markets, financial restructuring, enforcement and recovery, securitizations, financial instruments and derivatives transactions, e-money and payment services matters, implementation of EU directives in the field of financial services, advising on banking, finance and financial instruments legislative proposals and matters, AML and sanctions.

Additionally, the team has long-term experience in non-bank financing and project finance matters, an extensive knowledge and understanding of EU banking and financial services law, regulatory matters and disputes, the ability to grasp and deal with innovative financial services and transactions, and an understanding of the tax aspects and consequences of financial transactions, as well as an excellent track record in financial services VAT disputes.
