TMT team in Poland is led by Tomasz Koryzma and comprises six associates with a wealth of experience in advising on all aspects of  IT and Data Protection laws, including both contentious and non-contentious matters.

On the IT side, CMS lawyers are regularly involved in IT projects, assisting both service providers and their clients with negotiations of outsourcing and IT system implementation deals, covering, among other issues: software licensing, hardware procurement and maintenance services. They also advise clients on all issues related to user-generated content, e-commerce issues including behavioural marketing.

The TMT team has extensive experience in all legal aspects of privacy and data protection laws, including complex advice on international data transfer processes, BCRs issues, assistance with the process of seeking the DPA’s approval for data transfers, and strategic advice on sharing personal data within international capital groups. CMS lawyers help clients stay compliant with Polish and European privacy regulations, assisting them with internal data protection compliance projects, official DPA audits and related administrative proceedings.
