We provide ongoing advice on individual matters, processes before the Norwegian Competition Authority, EFTA Surveillance Authority and the courts of law, as well as internal training and compliance programs. Within competition law, we have a special focus on evaluations under the prohibition provisions of the Competition Act, including non-compliance matters, and on merger processes. We have a comprehensive understanding of the state aid regulations, and are well placed to assist with assessments as to whether measures qualify as state aid, whether any exemption provisions are applicable, and which changes, if any, need to be made to measures to bring these into compliance with the regulations. We also have extensive experience in general EU/EEA law matters, including in relation to the four freedoms.
Our public procurement team is one of Norway’s largest and best qualified in the field of procurement law. Our lawyers work with public procurement on a daily basis and have the experience, competence and capacity to handle all types of issues within this area. We assist both contracting authorities and suppliers in all phases of a procurement process, including planning and execution of procurements, handling and submission of complaints and dispute resolution. We regularly work closely with clients from ‘A to Z’ in interdisciplinary teams.
