We act for local and international investors and developers with substantial commercial portfolios in the private and public sectors. As a cross-practice group, we advise on the full spectrum of property and real estate work, including acquisition and disposal, regulatory processes and Cabinet directives, leases and licences and, where necessary, dispute resolution.

Our inbound investor client base includes some of the largest and most active foreign investors in the New Zealand property market. Our expertise in Overseas Investment Office (OIO) consent issues, in particular, has seen us involved in some of the largest OIO applications in New Zealand history. Our dedicated China Desk has in-depth local knowledge and can offer practical inbound investment solutions to our China clients.
