Cescon Barrieu’s Antitrust/Competition team has been actively involved in complex merger review processes, representing clients in some of the most strategic cases recently analyzed by CADE. We act both for applicants in merger filings and for interested third parties opposing transactions under CADE’s review. Our team also has a strong presence in investigations and administrative sanctioning proceedings, including cartel and unilateral conduct cases, handling both defenses and the negotiation of agreements with CADE, such as leniency agreements and cease-and-desist commitments.
