Carey's practise of environmental experts also advises clients on obtaining permits in all aspects related to the Environmental Impact Assessment System (SEIA).

The firm has extensive experience advising on due diligence processes, compliance with international standards, financing processes, ESG related matters, waste management (EPR Law), relationship and negotiation with communities including legislation that relates to indigenous people and, particularly, the application of Convention 169 of the International Labour Organisation.
