Traditional Construction

Drafting forms of contract (from building/ engineering contracts to consultant appointments and sub-contracts) is our bread and butter work. We have significant experience in drafting and negotiating contractual documents for major infrastructure and energy projects.

The team also assists other departments - including corporate support for major company acquisitions and construction due diligence for development finance matters (including for Development Bank of Wales where we are instructed on an innovative self-build scheme, and Hodge Bank).

Dispute resolution

Our dispute resolution practice continues its growth and is a key workstream for the team. During the global pandemic, we have been providing commercial positioning advice – including strategic meetings, negotiations, and drafting contract notices. This has resulted in Adjudication instructions throughout the supply chain.
