We act for: commercial banks; merchant banks; insurance companies; locally incorporated and external companies; P&I clubs; local and overseas companies requiring trade mark and patents registration and renewal; government and non-government actors in the mining industry; service providers to the oil & gas industry; overseas banks and companies providing loans to the Guyana government ,and individual persons requiring our experience and expertise.
Recent work highlights include acting as local counsel on loan transactions relating to the construction of the new Demerara Harbour Bridge and the acquisition of equipment for the Guyana Defence Force.
We are general practice firm with only 4 partners and 3 associates and do not have particular specialisations. We do, however, have departments dedicated to conveyancing, including mortgages and debentures, intellectual property and corporate work.
