Recent Highlights
In a case of first impression, obtained a unanimous Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruling holding that a college’s construction project, financed using tax-exempt bonds issued by a municipal authority, was not a “public work” subject to PA's Prevailing Wage Act because no public funds were used to pay for the project; although a public body was involved, it was merely a conduit for financing using private funds. Ursinus College v. Prevailing Wage Appeals Board, 310 A.3d 154 (Pa. 2024)
