Real Estate has been an important part of the Firm’s practice from its inception.  The Firm regularly represents clients in purchase and sale transactions, leasing, mortgage financing, development projects, UCC transactions, oil and gas financing, construction, mezzanine financing and timber sales. Recent real estate projects the Firm has handled include transactions involving power plants, telecommunications facilities, office buildings, shopping centers, hospitals, steel plants, shipyards, casinos, barge financing, mezzanine financing, tenant in common financing and the purchase and financing of large blocks of mineral and timber interests. The Firm’s real estate practice also includes expertise in zoning and land use regulation, which is described as a separate practice area.
