Tax law is one of the key specialisations of Briza & Trubac. The team led by Ondrej Trubac, one of the firm's founding partners, is one of the best in the Czech Republic.

The law firm concentrates particularly on the complex issue of tax proceedings and clients´ representation before tax authorities, including their consequent representation before administrative courts. The lawyers also deal with the new and developing sub-area of criminal law - the criminal tax law, and thereto connected issue of active repentance.

Ondrej Trubac is author of commentaries to Czech tax acts and other books. He combines his practical experience with theoretical knowledge. Ondrej is also member of the doctoral program board of Theoretical Legal Sciences - Financial Law and Financial Science at Charles University in Prague.

Ondrej is a frequent lecturer on tax-related topics and participant in the panel discussions at conferences.He and his colleagues represents clients in tax disputes in the value of hundreds of millions of Czech crowns before tax authorities as well as before regional courts and the Supreme Administrative Court.
