Overview

Bredin Prat’s finance team distinguishes itself from other firms by the diversity of the transactions on which it advises and the bespoke services offered to clients, who are mostly on the borrowers’ side, but also on the lenders’ side.

The team comprises 11 lawyers, including 3 partners and 1 counsel, and specialises in corporate borrowing whether in the form of loan finance or of capital market transactions.

The team can therefore advise companies, their shareholders, investment funds and banks in connection with:

  • Acquisition finance: M&A, public offerings, LBOs, JVs, etc.;
  • Setting up bank facilities: syndicated or bilateral, term loans B, unitranche working capital facilities, etc.;
  • Public or private debt placements: notes issuances in France, Europe or the United States, euro bonds, high yield bond offerings, international private placements, etc.;
  • Debt restructuring: in particular, in the context of distressed LBOs.

True to the Bredin Prat approach, the financing team often works alongside teams from the firm’s other practice areas (corporate, restructuring, capital markets…) in order to offer corporate clients transversal solutions adapted to their economic situation, thus providing a truly bespoke service.
