BLG’s Tax Group is comprised of over 60 lawyers across Canada. We are recognised as leaders in the field by many legal ranking publications and serve as the exclusive member in Canada for Taxand. With a wealth of experience in all areas of tax law for our domestic and international clients, we offer specialized services including corporate tax, inbound and outbound structuring, commodity taxation, litigation, transfer pricing, investment funds, reorganisations and restructurings, insurance taxation, employee benefits and pensions, trust and estate litigation.

Members of our Tax Group have served in government and private industry tax departments, regularly make submissions to government on tax laws, and write and lecture on taxation matters. They are active in numerous professional organizations including the Canadian Tax Foundation, International Fiscal Association, and Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
