About
Provided by BLP
BLP Labour and Employment practice has broad experience as specialized counsel of corporate labour law and labour litigation. The firm specializes in counseling multinational companies, many of them under the Free Trade Zone Regime.
In addition to day to day matters, the labour practice specializes in providing permanent advice in labour strategies to major companies.
BLP strategically analyzes the decisions that will be executed by clients and how these decisions will affect their companies in 3-5-10 years. What is our client not taking into consideration that could affect the company in the future? We are experts in avoiding possible contingencies, and this is what gives real value to our clients.
In labour litigation, our client portfolio has grown exponentially and the level of success of our litigious cases is over 90%.
BLP has been very active and successful in administrative and judicial labour litigation, where we specialize in the effective defence of corporations sued by former employees, by labour inspection institutions or by the social security administration. Many of the cases managed by BLP have established significant precedents regarding labour regulations in Costa Rica.
