Bird & Bird's International Equity Capital Markets Group comprises experienced corporate lawyers from across the firm with a focus on advising clients involved in public security-related transactions.

The Group advises both multinational and domestic public (or quasi-public) companies, together with investment banks and other financial advisers, on all manner of transactions, including public takeovers, acquisitions or disposals, IPOs and secondary issues, such as rights issues and non-pre-emptive issues.
We also advise on day-to-day regulatory compliance obligations, including advice on applicable listing rules, market regulation such as insider dealing legislation and on corporate governance issues. We routinely advise on the application of differing governance rules across multiple jurisdictions. We frequently advise US corporations and work on European matters (including investigations) that could give rise to Sarbanes-Oxley considerations.
