• Represented Dallas-based global tax services and software provider Ryan, LLC in its recent acquisition of Marvin F. Poer and Company (“Poer”), the second-largest property tax consulting firm in the United States.

• Represented a market-leading credit counseling business in the sale of all of its equity to a private equity purchaser for $175 million. This was a complicated transaction in a highly-regulated industry that involved restructuring a myriad of entities to achieve desirable tax efficiencies and to mitigate certain potential liabilities from pre-closing operations.
