The product liability group has handled some of the most significant automotive national class actions in New Jersey and other venues around the country, including serving as counsel for Subaru in matters across the country.

The group is exceptionally skilled at coordinating product liability litigation and has been called upon to salvage cases that have gone bad. We have achieved milestones in product class actions that separate us from other firms:

·        We have had the rare experience of trying two product liability class actions through a jury verdict.

·        We achieved an exceptionally rare post-trial decertification of a class in a product liability case against a leading automaker.

·        We regularly have success defeating or significantly limiting product class actions at the pleadings stage, striking class allegations, and eliminating troubling fee-shifting causes of action.

·        When circumstances have called for it, we have successfully mediated more than fifteen complex cases within the past several years, often employing unique settlement structures resulting in a substantial reduction in exposure and costs to our clients.
