Since its inception, over 30 years ago, the Stockholm office has grown considerably and covers all the practice areas expected of a major law firm including Corporate and M&A, Private Equity and Capital Markets.

• M&A - Our greatest strength is our experience and expertise in dealing with cross-border Corporate and M&A in the Nordic region. A large portion of our partners and associates have exceptional knowledge of the processes, architecture and documentation of international M&A deals gained from their time working in other jurisdictions. This makes us the first choice law firm for many international corporates from within and outside the Nordic region, as well as financial institutions.
• Our Private Equity practice mainly acts for Nordic and International PE firms with investments and/or exits but also for portfolio companies in connection with bolt-on acquisitions and/or restructurings.
• We have one of the largest capital markets teams in Sweden and Joakim Falkner is Baker McKenzie’s Head of Capital Markets for EMEA. Henric Roth manages complex transactions spanning multiple sectors involving e.g. US takeovers of Swedish companies, capital raises in connection with financial restructurings, SPACs and de-SPACs, and successful capital raises of listed and non-listed growth companies that have been stressed for cash in 2023. The firm, with Henric as representative, is frequently engaged by Nasdaq Stockholm to comment on contemplated changes to their Rule Books.
